California Coastal Project.
This is a series of coastal pictures taken from a helicopter. Over 12,700
photographs (totaling over 82GB) of the current California coast are now online,
covering the
Oregon Border (42N latitude) to the
Mexican Border (32.5N latitude), except for the
Vandenberg AFB restricted area.
Pedometer mapping using a
basis of Google Maps. Do I need to tell you to read the instructions first. It
will make it a little easier! This program allows you to click points on a
Google Map and automatically computes the distance.
San Diego County
Registrars Office has a search for homes sold by various attributes. For
example, the search can be by street.
The results show address, price
paid, parcel #, and date sold.

A friend of mine has posted an interesting
page on the web about the
Tuna
industry. He calls it: The Rise and Fall of the Tuna industry in San Diego and
the West Coast. His family was very involved in this industry. When Doris and I
came to the San Diego area, years ago, the Embarcadero in San Diego was very
active with Tuna boats and fishermen repairing their nets.
