Garden Railroad Bill Smith’s Garden Railroad Oceanside CA. The original installation was made in 1992. In 1998 four of us, led by Bill, started work on a new design. James Kuhns did the preliminary design work, Carl Groos, Bill, and myself worked for about two years to complete the work. My job was doing the rewire. Carl and I worked mostly on Wednesday afternoons when we were done with our RC Racing. I think you will really enjoy seeing these pictures. Garden Railroads are very popular in the entire world. If you get a chance to see one in your area please do. We have talked to people that have come to see Bill’s railroad from as far away as England and New Zealand!
